That’s right…we’ve fully shifted into soup mode! After the overwhelming response from last year, we could not be more excited for our second annual Golden Ladle Soup Competition!

Ground Control welcomes you to bring your secret family recipe, twist on a classic, award-winning chili, or any other fan favorite soup, and compete for the coveted Golden Ladle.

Contestants will set-up their kettles, crockpots or insta-pots and get ready to serve the masses. You can bring up to 3 separate entries (if you’re feeling ambitious) and compete in one of our 3 different categories.

You can’t have soup without bread, and since we are a beer bar, what better pairing than beer bread? Your beer bread must include beer, obviously, but other than that the flavors are up to you. We have a wide-selection of brews that would make an excellent ingredient for your loaves.

You are not required to make a beer bread to compete, and you are not required to make a soup to enter your beer bread.

Submit your entry into the competition to claim your spot (tables and outlets are limited). You are not required to know what kind of soup you will bring at this time.
